Location: Southwark, Central London – Hybrid Working with Travel around England and Wales

Salary: Up to £50,000, dependent on experience plus benefits including 26 days annual leave, pension, life insurance, and flexible working

Role: Full Time Permanent

Our client, a leading Trade Association based in Southwark, Central London, is seeking a Head of Membership Engagement to join their team.

If you have experience as a Head of Membership, particularly in engaging members within organizations such as Trade Associations, Professional Bodies, or Membership Organizations, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for membership engagement, recruitment, and retention
• Build strong relationships with members at a senior level
• Identify and target prospective members across the UK
• Manage membership applications and renewals
• Coordinate member meetings and events
• Promote activities and resources to members
• Design and execute a Membership Survey to evaluate and improve member support

Person Specification

• Significant experience in growing membership and managing membership services
• Experience in developing administrative processes and strategic planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at CEO/exec level
• Experience with CRM databases
• Good networking and team-working skills
