Role Summary: We are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and pushing boundaries to make an impact. As a casual worker you will bring this to life, working as an Independent Advocate with a flexible part‑time role that supports the community in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Hours of Work: Bank worker – hours will be varied; typical shift between 9 am–5 pm, Monday‑Friday as required.

Location: Home‑based with travel around the Nottingham area. Applicants should live in the Nottingham area, have a full driver’s licence and access to their own transport. Mileage will be covered in accordance with our policy. We also consider applicants from outside the posted location.

Salary: £12.60 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and time management skills to successfully work remotely.
  • Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new software packages such as client‑management databases.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate recording of records and reporting to meet tight deadlines.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in advocacy, information and advice, or a similar role within health, social care or the voluntary sector.
  • Demonstrable experience working with vulnerable adults.
  • Working knowledge of public and voluntary organisations.
