A market leading facilities management niche specialist is looking to recruit a National Sales Manager to join its growing team. The company has operated for 50 years, achieving annual targets year on year, and is expanding the team with immediate effect.

Location: Home based, covering a national patch.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with decision makers such as Facilities Managers, Estates Managers, Health and Safety Managers, Procurement Managers, Compliance Managers, Finance Managers, or Managing Directors depending on the business.
  • Identify and win new business; be a natural hunter who excels at winning work and influencing people.
  • Negotiate effectively, build rapport, and maintain a strong, target-driven performance ethic.
  • Manage an account portfolio you win, in addition to new business development.
  • Identify end-user clients and service providers across a national patch; leverage cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Experience selling to the types of decision makers listed in the Responsibilities; you do not need specific FM sector experience but should have a track record in selling to similar stakeholders.
  • Proven success in new business development with the ability to demonstrate value added to a business.
  • Comfortable working home-based with a national coverage model and a focus on selling products or services.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range is dependent on experience and will be circa £45k–£55k plus car package and an uncapped OTE. The OTE can result in an additional £20,000–£30,000 per year for high performers.
