Walker Timber Engineering are a long established and well-respected name in Timber Engineering and are a trusted manufacturer of roof trusses, engineered floor joists and timber frame.

We work with clients across the house building and construction sector. As we continue our growth journey, we are looking for a National Sales Manager to strengthen our market presence and build lasting partnerships with clients throughout the operating areas of our two manufacturing facilities.

Role Description

The National Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, securing new business, and managing key client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and win new business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts
• Work closely with the wider business and operations teams to ensure exceptional service delivery
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records through the CRM system and reporting tools

Qualifications

• Proven track record in new business development and account management
• Existing client portfolio or strong industry network (highly desirable)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally
• Experience working with housing developers and housing contractors
• Familiarity with public procurement portals
