Job Description
- Manage and process payroll operations accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and employment laws
- Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions and benefits
- Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile payroll accounts
- Address payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as required
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
- Stay updated with changes in payroll legislation and industry standards
- Support with the training of more junior members of the team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Supervisor should have:
- Experience in payroll processing
- Knowledge of payroll software and accounting systems
- A solid understanding of tax regulations and employment laws
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of managing/training individuals is desirable but not essential
