Overview

Location: Manchester (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH). Contract Duration: 6 months. Applications: 3 days ago (Be among the first 25 applicants).

Responsibilities

  • Payroll Processing: Prepare, process, and distribute employee pay checks, ensuring accuracy in calculations of wages, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Data Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Compliance: Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax withholdings and reporting requirements.
  • Reporting: Generate payroll reports and assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Employee Support: Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing assistance and resolving issues as needed.

Key Skills

  • Experience with EMEA payrolls, particularly Luxembourg, Belgium, Spain and France – in that priority order.
  • French language would be a bonus but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and on initiative; experience in process improvements; client-focused; risk and controls conscious; good communication skills.
  • Systems: SAP and Oracle; familiarity with NGA/Alight/Strada is advantageous.
  • Strong Excel skills are a must.
