DWF is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Manchester team on a hybrid basis (2 days per week in the office). Supporting payroll operations for around 4,000 colleagues across multiple global locations, you will handle end-to-end processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery. This is a chance to grow your international payroll expertise within a collaborative and supportive professional services environment.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of multiple payrolls across various jurisdictions.
- Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Complete data entry, reconciliations, and audit checks.
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and internal teams.
- Liaise with HR and Finance to ensure alignment on employee data and reporting.
- Support compliance with UK and international payroll regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement ideas within the payroll function.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- Previous experience in a payroll specialist role, ideally within a professional services or multi-jurisdictional environment.
- At least 1 year of experience with UK payroll legislation and good understanding of statutory regulations.
- Considerable numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable
- Familiarity with payroll systems and software, preferably ADP (training provided if required).
