Job Title: Principal Air Quality Consultant
Location: London
Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 + Benefits

A leading environmental consultancy is looking for a Principal Air Quality Consultant to join its growing London office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant to take on a leadership position, delivering complex air quality projects, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff.

Role responsibilities

• Delivering and managing air quality consultancy projects across multiple sectors
• Leading dispersion modelling and technical assessments
• Producing and reviewing high-quality technical reports
• Mentoring and supporting junior consultants
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Contributing to bids, proposals, and business development initiatives

Skills and experience

• 6+ years’ experience in air quality consultancy or regulation
• Strong knowledge of ADMS, AERMOD, and IAQM/EPUK guidance
• Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, or related discipline
• Chartered status (CEnv/IAQM) or working toward it
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence
