Are you an ambitious Private Client Solicitor ready to take ownership of your next career move?

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior role within a respected team where there’s a current gap at your level. You’ll bring technical strength across trusts, probate, and general private client work, and in return, you’ll be empowered to shape your own caseload, develop a niche, and become a key figure in the growth of the department.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and employee‑owned firm that’s proud of its supportive culture and clear progression structure, one that values not just technical excellence but wider contributions to the team’s success.

Who we’re looking for

  • Experience across the full spectrum of private client work: trusts, probate, family wealth, and general private client
  • Strong technical knowledge and confidence to operate at senior level
  • International/cross‑border experience is a bonus (Desired)
  • Background in a city centre firm or high‑calibre boutique (Desired)
  • Strong BD mindset
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and committed to being part of a team all pulling in the same direction

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver expert technical advice across a varied caseload
  • Support partners with delegated work while growing your own client base
  • Develop and evolve your role, shaping your caseload around your strengths and interests
  • Contribute to the growth of the team and wider firm through business development
  • Build partnerships with external referrers such as financial advisers and accountants
  • 2–3 days in the office (flex depending on experience and business needs)

Salary & Benefits

  • Highly competitive salary
  • Employee‑Owned structure
  • Genuine progression pathway with no caps on promotion
  • Enhanced sick pay and parental leave policies (based on length of service)
  • 2–3 days hybrid working depending on experience
  • Employee‑led culture – staff at all levels help shape the future of the firm
  • Despite being one of the largest Private Client teams regionally, the team retains a small, friendly feel
