Ways of Working

We value flexibility, community, and work-life balance. Our hybrid model combines home and office work. You can expect to work from our London office between 8-12 days per month. The successful applicant should be reasonably commutable to our Gray’s Inn Road office (London, WC1X 8HB).

Role description

As a Product Designer at Pod, you’ll craft seamless digital experiences across our products and platforms. You’ll work in a cross-functional team with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to bring our brand and values to life.

You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Designing end-to-end product experiences across mobile apps (primary focus), web tools, website, and internal platforms.
  • Leading interaction and motion design, creating animations and micro-interactions that enhance usability.
  • Championing accessibility and inclusive design, embedding best practices into every design.
  • Owning and evolving our design language—building on brand guidelines and growing our design system for consistency, scalability, and accessibility.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape solutions from discovery through delivery.
  • Creating developer-ready Figma files that are slick, organized, and system-aware.
  • Using Miro to facilitate workshops, map research insights, and co-create solutions.
  • Planning and running user research and usability testing to validate ideas and refine product experiences.
  • Using data, insights, and feedback to guide design decisions and improve product performance.

Electrify us with your skills

We’re looking for someone with a background in Product Design with a strong focus on mobile apps. The following are desired:

  • A portfolio showing end-to-end product design work with emphasis on mobile, including interaction/motion design and accessibility.
  • Deep expertise in Figma—highly organized, scalable files.
  • Proven experience with Miro for workshops, research synthesis, and collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and evolving design systems at scale.
  • Strong understanding of WCAG guidelines, accessibility standards, and inclusive design practices.
  • Customer-centric approach—grounding design decisions in user needs while balancing business goals.
  • Experience collaborating with developers in agile product teams, ensuring smooth handoff from design to build.
  • Confidence in running research and usability testing from planning to synthesis.
  • Strong facilitation skills to align stakeholders and guide decisions.
  • Experimental mindset—curious, adaptable, and open to new approaches and tools (including AI in design workflows).
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude.

Bonus experience (not required, but advantageous):

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Flutter) to better collaborate with developers.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation, or analytics tools.
  • Strong storytelling skills to advocate for design concepts and product vision.
