Overview

Recruitment Coordinator role at Guardian Jobs. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment Opportunity with Jobshare - 14 hours per week (Thursday and Friday). Hybrid working. Closing date: 28 September 2025 (22:59). Interview date: w/c 06 October 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Provide seamless support to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and assessments.
  • Liaise directly with candidates and conduct pre-employment checks.
  • Update and keep candidates warm at various stages of the recruitment journey.
  • Maintain contact with new starters to ensure a positive onboarding experience; respond to routine enquiries; manage the recruitment line and inbox.
  • Assist with presenting on the first day induction for new starters, remotely or in person.
  • Present as needed in front of groups or individuals during onboarding or related activities.

Qualifications and skills

  • Demonstrable experience in providing first class administrative support within a busy team.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment administrative processes.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Proactive and able to hit the ground running in a 12 month fixed term contract.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; often the first and last point of contact for candidates in the recruitment journey.
