The Role

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Lead on the design, review, and implementation of people policies and processes to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Take a leading role in organisational change, including restructures and TUPE transfers.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with recognised trade unions.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leaders on people matters, terms and conditions, and employment legislation.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the Executive team, ensuring HR strategy aligns with business priorities.
  • Drive process improvements, including digitalisation and automation initiatives, to enhance efficiency.
  • Represent the HR function in industry forums and external networks.

About You

We’re looking for someone who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level. You’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience leading large-scale TUPE projects.
  • Proven experience of working with trade unions in complex, unionised environments.
  • A strong HR generalist background within manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or transport sectors.
  • Excellent influencing, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at Executive and senior management level.
  • Strong project management and change management skills, with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
