Senior National Account Manager – Branded Food – Grocery Retail. Remote with UK travel (ideally based in or around the London area).

Up to £70k + Bonus

The Opportunity

This is a pivotal role within a high-growth, health-focused FMCG brand operating across major UK grocery multiples and 8+ categories, focused on flavour, functionality, and innovation.

As National Account Manager, you will manage and grow relationships with key retail customers (e.g., Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s) while driving new business opportunities and supporting NPD launches. You’ll collaborate with internal teams across marketing, operations, and manufacturing to implement commercial plans and sustain strong brand performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute customer-specific business plans to drive profitable growth
  • Develop and manage promotional calendars and activation plans
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities and lead NPD listings
  • Build compelling pitches and present to major UK retailers
  • Forecast and track sales performance, reporting back to internal teams
  • Analyse category data and market insights to inform strategy
  • Represent the brand at events, store visits, and retailer meetings

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience managing top 4 grocery accounts within FMCG (Food or Drink)
  • A commercial thinker with strong category, shopper and customer insight
  • Confident managing P&L and using data to build compelling proposals
  • A driven self-starter who’s adaptable, resilient, and thrives in a start-up environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently, with willingness to travel
  • Degree-educated with 3+ years in a similar sales or account management role
