The Role
As National Account Manager, you’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of key UK retail accounts. You will drive commercial performance, develop strategic plans, and execute category initiatives in-store to support sustainable growth. Success will come from blending strategic account management with hands-on execution, ensuring strong collaboration across internal Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Category teams.
- Day-to-day management of national retail accounts, delivering revenue and margin targets
- Development and delivery of strategic account plans and Joint Business Plans
- Ownership of listings, pricing, promotions, and forecasting
- Using data and insights to track performance, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks
- Leading customer presentations, range reviews, and promotional planning
- Working cross-functionally to ensure excellent execution and on-shelf availability
- Managing trade investment to maximise ROI
About You
- Experience in a National Account Manager (NAM) or Junior NAM role within FMCG, health, beauty, wellness, or grocery
- Proven ability to grow customer relationships and deliver commercial results
- Experience managing UK grocery or retail accounts (e.g., Boots, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, etc.)
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and presentation skills
- Highly organised, collaborative and proactive, with the ability to balance strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment
