Rendall & Rittner is a Residential Leasehold Property Management company seeking a dedicated Senior Property Manager to manage a portfolio, including a large and complex development, and work alongside the Team Manager to mobilise and manage two new instructions in south East and East London.

Position: Senior Property Manager

Location: The convenience of working from home and attending sites twice a week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Portfolio and Team

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Property Manager to manage a portfolio that includes a large and complex development and to work alongside the Team Manager to mobilise and manage two new instructions in south East and East London. You will be on site a minimum of twice a week, with the flexibility to work from home or from one of our London-based offices for the remainder of the week.

You will work alongside other property professionals and report into a Team Manager. The wider team meets regularly to share industry knowledge and support learning and development.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Lead by example whilst adopting the Rendall & Rittner policies, procedures and values
  • Ensure adherence to lease agreements by all parties, including managing lease extensions and variations
  • Oversee the calculation, collection, and allocation of service charges, ensuring transparency and efficiency
  • Coordinate routine and emergency repairs, manage contractors, and ensure high standards of property upkeep
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to ensure properties meet all health and safety regulations
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, provide financial reporting, and oversee reserve funds for long-term maintenance
  • Serve as the primary contact for leaseholders, addressing queries, concerns, and disputes
  • Organise and lead annual general meetings, presenting financial and operational updates to leaseholders
  • Stay current with property-related laws and ensure compliance
  • Handle and mediate disputes, with a focus on resolution
  • Oversee projects, including managing Section 20 consultations and ensuring projects are completed within budget and on schedule
  • Provide excellent customer service and effective communication, ensuring leaseholders receive timely, clear, and helpful information
