We are looking for an experienced Engineering Leader for our Cryptocurrency technology initiatives, driving end-to-end solutions from architecture design to running on production while collaborating with Product teams and contributing hands-on code. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with an experimental mindset to translate business requirements into strategic technical vision while maintaining high standards for code quality and system stability.
Working hours from 9-6 UK time zone.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead all technology and development efforts for Cryptocurrency and FiatCrypto conversion flows
- Personally contribute code while leading a small experienced engineering team
- Translate business requirements into appropriate technology stack selections, architecture designs, and platform integrations
- Take full ownership of technology design quality, code standards, non-functional requirements, production stability and delivering end-to-end solutions
- Collaborate with other IT teams to define integrations and joint technical designs for cross-platform workflows
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to determine build vs. buy decisions for vendor solutions
- Partner with Product and Business stakeholders to shape the Cryptocurrency project roadmap
Qualifications
- 6+ years experience with demonstrated hands-on expertise in blockchain technologies, crypto wallets, and fiat-crypto systems
- Proven track record leading development of Web3 financial products, including non-custodial wallets, DeFi integrations, and crypto payment solutions
- Deep technical knowledge of smart contracts, custody and noncustody solutions
- Strong architectural skills for designing secure and compliant systems in both traditional banking infrastructure and decentralized networks
- Track record of leading engineering teams
- Willingness to experiment with new technologies and methodologies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Fluency in English
