Overview

Role: Sourcing Telesales Executive (Sourcing Advisor)

Join Qimtek to utilise your B2B expertise to drive UK manufacturing forward, secure projects, and build key relationships. Enjoy flexible hybrid working, comprehensive training, and uncapped commission.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage a pipeline of subcontract projects from your region.
  • Build strong relationships with buyers and purchasing contacts.
  • Liaise between buyers and suppliers to ensure projects are quoted and awarded.
  • Promote and guide buyers on how to use our online quoting system effectively.
  • Conduct outbound calls and emails (60+ attempts per day) to build relationships and uncover new projects.
  • Use LinkedIn and other channels to research, engage and build new buyer connections.
  • Deliver demos to new and existing buyers where required.
  • Attend occasional site visits, industry events and trade shows.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Membership & Sourcing teams to support suppliers.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience & Skills: Previous B2B sales, account management or relationship management experience; track record in a target-driven role; experience using LinkedIn (and similar tools) for prospecting and lead generation; strong communication, negotiation and mediation skills; excellent telephone manner; confidence in building rapport quickly; strong organisational and time management skills; good IT literacy (CRM experience a plus); knowledge of engineering/manufacturing is helpful but not essential (full training provided).
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, driven and ambitious; great communicator and natural relationship-builder; team player; able to work independently and manage time effectively; resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced setting.

What Qimtek Offers

  • Competitive base salary: £23,000 – £25,000 (DOE).
  • Uncapped commission – realistic OTE of £35k–£40k.
  • 20 days holiday, rising by 1 day per year (up to 25).
  • Hybrid working option – after training, you can work from home up to 2 days per week.
