Telesales Executive – Business Brokerage
Location: Peterborough/Stamford area - Flexible/Hybrid
Full time of Part-time (t.b.d.)
Competitive base salary + performance-based commission
Are you a confident communicator with a professional phone manner and a talent for building relationships? We’re looking for a driven Telesales Executive to join our business brokerage team and connect with business owners in the region who may be considering selling their business—especially in sectors like trades, services, and local enterprises.
About Us
We are a growing business brokerage, helping owners of small to medium-sized businesses sell their companies confidentially and successfully. Our clients span a wide range of industries including manufacturing, professional services, legal, construction, trades and all kind of other established owner-managed businesses.
As we expand, we’re looking to proactively reach more business owners who may be thinking about an exit - now or in the near future. We are currently using external telesales resources but are looking to bring this function in-house.
About the Role
As a Telesales Executive, you’ll play a key part in identifying potential clients by:
-Making outbound calls to business owners across sectors (e.g., trades, services, local businesses)
-Introducing our services in a professional, consultative manner
-Building trust and rapport to uncover potential interest in selling
-Qualifying leads and booking follow-up appointments for our brokers
-Accurately recording call outcomes and insights in our CRM
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
-Confident and clear on the phone, with a mature and professional approach
-Experienced in outbound telesales, telemarketing, or a similar role
-Skilled at building rapport with business owners and decision-makers
-Organised, self-motivated, and results-focused
-Comfortable working toward targets in a supportive environment
-Experience speaking with business owners or selling B2B professional services is highly valued.
