Overview2026 Graduate Programme - Building Specialists - Fire, Energy Solutions & Facades at WSP. Graduates join Building Specialists teams, with opportunities across Fire Engineering, Digital Services, Façade Engineering and Energy Solutions. The programme is designed to develop technical and professional skills through mentored, multidisciplinary work on landmark projects and a blend of on-the-job experience and formal development.ResponsibilitiesWork in multidisciplinary teams on exciting and innovative projects across Building Specialists services.Assist in applying specialist knowledge to solve client problems and bring the latest techniques to design and compliance challenges.Be embedded in teams and mentored by experienced professionals, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and innovative solutions.Contribute to day-to-day activities within your service area, such as producing reports, preparing design notes, coordinating with other disciplines, attending design team meetings, and site visits as required.Support the delivery of projects in areas including Fire Engineering, Digital Services (BIM/ISO19650), Façade Engineering, and Energy Solutions (heat networks). Projects and TeamsFire Engineering: design of fire protection systems, escape strategies, smoke control, sprinkler systems, and fire safety compliance reports.Digital Services: BIM implementation, information management and digital transformation across projects.Façade Engineering: building envelope design, thermal modelling, material studies, and collaboration with architects and contractors.Energy Solutions: heat networks development, modelling, site visits, and coordination with project teams.Qualifications and RequirementsGraduated with at least a 2:2 in a master's or bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.Interest in Building Specialists services, building systems (lighting, security) and digital Engineering/BIM.Willingness to learn, develop new skills in BIM coordination and digital project delivery.Understanding of engineering or construction design processes and curiosity about new technologies.Enthusiasm for creativity and problem solving, with the desire to contribute new ideas.Ability to start work in April or September 2026.Application and SelectionCandidates must complete the application form in full and answer all questions.
