Overview

2026 Graduate Programme - Building Specialists - Fire, Energy Solutions & Facades. We’re recruiting graduates for our Building Specialists teams across Fire Engineering, Digital Services, Façade Engineering and Energy Solutions. You will be embedded in multidisciplinary teams, mentored by experienced professionals and exposed to real-world challenges and innovative solutions in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy.

Responsibilities

  • Fire Engineering: assist in developing fire strategy and designing fire protection systems, producing fire strategy documents, technical design notes and fire-related reports; participate in design team meetings and site visits; contribute to architecture, MEP, structures and other disciplines as required.
  • Digital Services: support BIM/Digital Advisory activities, develop digital strategies across project life cycles, coordinate and review BIM models for accuracy, ensure compliance with BIM standards (ISO 19650), work with common data environments (e.g., BIM360 Docs, ProjectWise) and assist in bids/proposals with BIM/digital inputs.
  • Façade Engineering: assist in facade design processes, including thermal modelling, building physics, glass design analysis, preparation of drawings and design deliverables; support site inspections and collaboration across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines; develop software competency (e.g., Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Flixo, Bisco, Builddesk, Strand, SJ Mepla).
  • Energy Solutions: participate in heat networks projects, support feasibility and engineering assessments, learn to use new software and tools, attend design team meetings and client progress meetings, help prepare presentations and contribute to bids.

In all streams, you will be embedded in teams, mentored by experienced professionals, and receive guidance to develop your skills while delivering value to clients on diverse projects.

Qualifications and What We Are Looking For

  • You will have graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction management or related field.
  • You should be available to start in April or September 2026 and demonstrate a passion for Buildings Specialists services, awareness of building systems, including lighting and security, and an interest in digital engineering and BIM.
  • You should be eager to learn and develop new skills in BIM coordination and digital project delivery, with an understanding of engineering or construction design processes and a curiosity about new technologies.
  • You should be creative, driven to solve problems and ready to share new ideas with the team.
  • You will be required to complete the application form in full and pass an online skill enabler assessment as part of the recruitment process.
