Overview

Cyber Security Trainee Placement Programme. This is a training course with fees. The programme helps place graduates into top UK companies and organisations needing entry-level IT and Cybersecurity staff. No previous experience is required, as fully accredited training with tutor support and mentoring provides the skills, practical knowledge and qualifications to secure a professional job in IT. A job guarantee (18K–£35K) is offered upon completion, subject to terms of learning. The programme can be completed at a pace that suits the student, whether full-time, part-time or unemployed, and spans a few weeks to a few months.

Progression is organized in four steps, from online training to placement.

  1. Step 1 – Accredited Online Training
Complete professional, accredited CompTIA courses delivered online with multimedia tutorials, practice labs, presentations and quizzes. You are supported by an expert tutor and a mentor throughout training.
  2. Step 2 – Practical Training
Gain hands-on experience with practice labs to build practical skills and confidence for an IT role.
  3. Step 3 – Official exams
Sit CompTIA A+ and Network+ exams to obtain official certifications recognised in the UK and globally. Network+ provides a foundation in networking.
  4. Step 4 – IT Technician placement
Secure your first IT Technician role with a starting salary of £24K–£35K. Two years of experience in this role may be needed before progressing to cybersecurity roles. Additional training during this phase prepares you to move into cybersecurity, including optional modules such as Certified Ethical Hacker and Certified Network Defender depending on requirements. A second training batch may be released to support transition.

Cybersecurity progression
After completing mandatory Step 4 training and gaining two or more years in IT, you can move into higher-paying cybersecurity roles. The recruitment support team specialises in IT and cybersecurity roles, with an average starting salary around £35K.
