This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.National Accounts Manager.Salary- Competitive.Hybrid- Office and Home based.OverviewJOB PURPOSE:ResponsibilitiesTo manage and develop existing key accounts within the Wholesale division, working with National Account Customers while supporting on New Business, maximising all opportunities to drive sales revenue & profit.To collaborate, support and listen as we continue to add value to our Partner's businesses as well as our own.Building the Joint Business Plan in conjunction with the Channel Controller and National Account Partners.Owning any commercial agreements from internal sign off to customer agreement and review.Own an Integrated Contact strategy to build relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally, to deliver the highest level of customer service and add value to both our and our Partner's businesses.Monitor sales and service, Investigating and resolving queries and issues raised.Price and Promotional management, and operational oversight and efficiency facilitation.Support the resolution of debt management working in conjunction with the Credit Control function.Involvement in cross functional projects as required.Taking a proactive approach to personal development, account management and administration.Deliver top line wholesale sales revenue and net margin contribution in line with the budget.Key Job InfoHome based, but expectation would be for circa ½ of total time spent with customers or at AFB offices collaborating internally.National travel, and attendance at trade events will mean there will be a requirement to stay away from home overnight or attend evening events on behalf of the business.Will have access to company car as part of role and must ensure this is looked after in accordance with company policy.Generic ResponsibilitiesAlways behave within the principles of the company's values.Maintain employee and organisational confidentiality in line with the Data Protection ActDemonstrate commitment to equality and diversity.Comply with all legislative requirements as well as all company policies, procedures, and processes.Education / Qualifications / LicencesFull UK Driving Licence is essentialDegree or equivalent is preferred - high levels of numeracy and literacy essentialSkills / Abilities / Knowledge / ExperiencePrevious experience in a Wholesale or Retail customer-facing role preferred.Strong evidence of the ability to build effective relationships.Ability to build and deliver a customer plan that grows profitable retail and wholesale salesStrong IT skills; CRM system, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OfficeExcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationshipsSelf-starter and completer-finisher skills.
